Some of the few digital plug ins that didn't make me want to vomit. This is speaking of the "deluxe" individual recreations in v3.not the originals, which were really cool, IMO, for their day. And for someone like me who likes to keep buffers as low as can be for VI latency.those kind of huge CPU drains are significant. But, right now, it makes a HUGE difference. Holy Sh!T.the difference in a CLA2a and their opto is like ten times.Pultec easily that or more.Fairchild-where do they get off thinking they can use that much CPU? Point is, in a few years on a new computer, won't matter. Let me simply explain why they're cheaper.Ĭheck the CPU useage. Some, arguably as good as Waves CLA/JJP.at least debateably in the same ballpark.
